I first found yoga 25 years ago when I was recovering from a dance injury. My background as a professional dancer combined with my passion for all yoga, led me to Bali where I received my teacher training certification, and where I discovered the manifestation of meditation through motion.things
My background in psychology is present in my classes where I believe healing can happen through a deeper awareness of the mind-body connection. I have a great interest in how emotion is stored in the body and how yoga can assist in releasing emotion through movement.
My teaching is focused on correct alignment and linking the breath to the movement. My goal is to help others use their breath, body and consciousness to obtain a deeper, more meaningful connection with themselves and the divine.
