Yoga NoHo offers a variety of engaging yoga styles, with a focus on Vinyasa Flow and Hatha. Each class is designed to help students strengthen the body, relieve stress, and quiet the mind. When we do so, we journey inward to a place where profound healing and transformatin can occur. A consistent yoga practice is an opportunity to awaken your physical, mental, and emotional being to its highest potential. Benefits of Regular Yoga Practice

STRESS RELIEF: Because yoga induces the body’s relaxation response, even a single yoga session can lower blood pressure and reduce levels of the primary stress hormone cortisol.  New research from Boston University School of Medicine shows that yoga significantly increases the level of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), a neurotransmitter that offers a naturally potent anti-depressant and anti-anxiety boost.  Related benefits include lowering blood pressure and heart rate, improving digestion and boosting the immune system.
