The art of restorative yoga is transformational and you can learn how to deepen your personal practice or teach others! Perfect for the aspiring student or teacher who wants to add restorative yoga postures to their existing teaching repertoire. This immersion weekend will explore the history, postures, and the healing qualities of restorative yoga.

Karen Russell is an E-RYT500 certified teacher, owner of the Yoga Noho Center and has been  teaching for over 22 years. As a student she has studied with numerous respected yoga teachers in the United States and India and continues her studies in all aspects of yoga. Her passion for restorative yoga started while she experienced an injury as a professional dancer over 20 years ago, and realized the importance of restorative yoga as a way to compliment her natural desire for vigorous yoga styles.

Now more than ever, she has witnessed students feel more stressed out and definitely will prescribe restorative yoga. As yoga teachers, she believes that continual education is key for both the teacher and student. Come join her for this very special and intimate restorative yoga training.

Yoga NoHo Center is a Registered Yoga School (RYS®) with Yoga Alliance and continuing education YACEP provider. We offer small class sizes for individual attention, expert teachers, lecturers, and healers in a supportive, loving community. We will accept all 200 hour certified and even students who are interested in studying restorative yoga for your personal growth.

Training will take place at YOGA NOHO CENTER
